Towalski Back For a Third Term |

MK Lightning are very pleased to announce the re-signing of Matt Towalski for a third consecutive season. Matt has gone from strength to strength since becoming a Lightning player and has become a vital part of the team winning three (???) awards at the end of season awards night. Although born and raised in MK, Matt spent the bulk of his junior career and first few years of senior playing in Slough as he changed clubs when the rink shut years ago. Matt has quickly become a fan's favourite and real character in the MKL changing room.
Nick on the capture of Matt's signature, 'I am very pleased to have Matt back for another season as he brings so much to the team. His speed, energy and tenacity make him a very difficult player to play against and he is very skilled on the puck. Matt plays for us in all situations and has been one of the players we always put out against the opponents top lines. He is an inspirational player that always plays hard and I believe we will also see more of an offensive output from Matt this coming season'.
