Lightning Strike For Defender |
|
MK Lightning are extremely pleased to announce the signing of defender Adam Radmall for the upcoming season. Adam comes to us having played for GB junior sides as well as Manchester Phoenix, Coventry Blaze and Hull Stingrays. Nick on his latest capture, 'This is the second summer I have tried to get Adam to sign for us. I am extremely pleased to have him on board and know he will make a big impact on our team. He is a reliable and solid defender who makes smart decisions with the puck. I first really noticed him when he played for the Stingrays for two seasons and was immediately impressed. He has played on winning teams under good coaches and everyone I speak to talks very highly of Adam both as a player and as a person. He is going to be one of the foundations for our defence next year and I know he will relish the responsibility. I know last year was a frustrating season for Adam and he is very excited to get back on the ice and help us win some silverware'. Adam Carr who has played on several GB teams with his namesake had this to say when he heard of the capture of Radmalls signature, "Raddaz is one of the best young British D-men there is, having iced with him through all the junior Great Britain age groups i know he is more than capable of making an impact in the EPL, he is a good skater with great composure on the puck and has the ability to make the transition of play for defence to forward superbly, not only that but he is a great guy off the ice who will fit in nicely into the MK family and be a big hit with the fans. After talks with Rads about the move i know he cant wait to be challenging for as much silverware as possible!" Stay tuned for more news over the coming weeks. |
