The Milton Keynes Lightning can confirm today the signing of Czech-born forward Kamil Tvrdek, to add to the club’s offensive lines as Adam Calder begins his rehabilitation from a fractured hip.
Kamil, 29, is a left-winger who has played all of his hockey to date in his native Czech Republic. He began his career with his hometown club Karlovy Vary, in the north-west of the country, where he played for nine seasons. The 2008 season saw a move to Slovakian side MSHK Zilina, before returning to the Czech Republic a year later, where he has remained ever since.
