The Match

After a small delay due to Romford having bus trouble Lightning started off brightly tonight  and came out to score at 16.22, Adam Carr from Nick Poole from Michael Farn and it ended like that at the end of the first period.

Period 2 was a different affair with Lightning going off the boil slightly and Romford coming back, scoring at 24.30 Joe Allen, Michal Palik from Dean Tonks. Then at 29.01 Romford scored their second goal of the evening Darren Cotton from Danny Marshall, from Frankie Harvey.  Lightning held their nerve and came back with a goal from Lukas Zatopek from Nick Poole second period all square at 2 -2.

The third period saw Grant McPherson score from Michael Wales to win the game for MK Lightning.
