WEDS - Farny was released from Hospital last night without having an operation at this time, he may need ops in the future once the swelling has gone down. I am sure everyone will give him a huge welcome at he game tonight
Vito and Harry spent most of this afternoon with Farny in Slough Hospital after he was caught with a puck last night on the bench at the game against Slough, Michael was not playing.
It was confirmed that his nose was broken last night and it is believed that his cheek is also broken. He has been transferred to Northwick Hospital in Harrow which is a specialist hospital for facial injuries and should he require an operation it will be carried out tomorrow. Farny has been overwhelmed by the number of good will messages he has received from players and fans, which he would like to Thank everyone for. Vito and Harry both mentioned that Farny, for a lad of his age has taken the injury very well and is taking it with a great deal of maturity, which they were very impressed with. Moment of the afternoon was when the ambulance arrived to move Farny to Northwick and the ambulance driver was a Geordie - you can imagine the banter he had with Farny the Mackam! We will keep you posted on any further news we have but in the meantime, Get well soon Farney from us all. |
