UK ICE HOCKEY PAYS ITS RESPECTS TO LOKOMOTIV YAROSLAVL
On 7 September a plane carrying the roster and coaching staff of Russian ice hockey team Lokomotiv Yaroslavl crashed on take-off: there were no survivors.  Lokomotiv were highly-placed in the KHL, one of the toughest leagues in Europe.

On Saturday 24 September, all senior ice hockey teams in the UK will join together to pay their respects to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl with one minute's silence at 7pm, prior to the British national anthem.

The management, players and staff of the MK Lightning ask all supporters attending Saturday's home fixture against Peterborough Phantoms to join us in paying our respects to those who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy.
