This weekend saw Lightning short of Barry Hollyhead after his injury picked up in Basingstoke last weekend, so step up Alex Mettam....... and he had a fantastic weekend. 

Both results went Lightnings way with a 7-2 win against Sheffield, who were import-less, on Saturday.  And on Sunday both ex Guildofrd players Gary Clarke and Alex Mettam played a huge part in the 2-1 win in pens for a 4 point weekend.
