Season Ticket Sales are up for MK Lightning

With the beginning of the Season just a few weeks away we are delighted to report that our new Early Bird Season Ticket appears to have hit the spot with our fans, as we have seen many new fans taking advantage of the improved benefit of a season ticket for the forthcoming season. Although some fans still prefer to pay for their Season Ticket over 5 months, many seem to have opted for the larger discount the Early Bird scheme offers. General Manager, Vito Rausa said, " we are very pleased at how the season ticket sales have begun for next season and hope this trend continues right up to the start of the season. Season Ticket sales help with our up front costs which are always high even before a puck is dropped, with things like registrations, equipment and flights, to name a few items."   The MK Lightning also hope that by bringing Sunday face off times to 5.30pm it should help fans with young children to come and watch more Sunday games. In the past some of our fans have found it difficult to make Sunday games as it meant that any family with children would be unlikely to get them to bed much before 9pm. This also had a knock on effect with our Season Ticket sales as it effectively made it a non starter to purchase a season ticket if you couldn't make 5 or 6 games over a season. With the earlier face off time this should help not only the season ticket sales but also our family ticket sales on match nights.
