Lightning took on Basingstoke Bison tonight for the first time at home and won the encounter 6-3 with goals from Monir Kalgoum x 2,  Adam Carr, Ross Bowers x 2 and Matt Towalski.

Milton Keynes play Basingstoke for the first time this week (1 of 2 games) tonight (Thursday) in Basingstoke in the Planet Ice Shield.

MK Lightning played Peterborough Phantoms tonight at home in their only game of the weekend and pulled off a win.  Phantoms away game form has proved a problem for them of late and tonight was no exception with Lightning managing a 5 - 2 win with goals from Adam Brittle, Leigh Jamieson, Michael Wales, Lukas Zatopek and Monir Kalgoum.  Full match details will be available soon

The Thursday game in Basingstoke in the Planet Ice Shield will be a Help for Heroes match where all service personnel will be able to attend free of charge.  We understand that a number of fundraising events will take place ahead during the evening to help support this worthy cause.
