Muzzy Back For Another Year

The Milton Keynes Lightning are very pleased to announce the return of Michael Wales for the upcoming season.  The feisty forward had a career best season in both points and goals last year and is looking to better that this year.  Whilst he is a crowd favourite in Milton Keynes and is loathed in other rinks for his aggressive play.   Nick on his latest signing, 'Muzzy has worked very hard on his game and he was a real asset to us last season.  He scored some big goals at some key times but more importantly he was a driving force on our side.  When Muzzy is playing well and with energy he sets the tone for our team.  He seldom takes a night off and is a real character in the locker room.  His discipline was much better last year and this was rewarded with more ice-time and which in turn made him far more productive'.    Nick went on to add, 'Muzzy will be key player in a very much improved league next season and we will need him to continue to play at the level he set for himself last season.'   Stay tuned for more signings to be announced in the coming weeks.
