Matty 'T' Returns with a well deserved 'A' |

 The Milton Keynes Lightning are extremely pleased to announce the return of Matt Towalski for the upcoming season. Matt is back for his fourth season with the Lightning after a stint with both the Slough junior and senior sides.
Matty and his 100% performances have become the spine of the team and it comes as no surprise that he has been promoted to assistant captain this coming year. Nick said on the latest signing, 'Matty signed up for the upcoming campaign almost immediately after the final game. I know he was gutted and disappointed by the way the year ended and will be looking to do everything in his power to help the team lift silverware next season. He is such a key player in our team, being able to play in any position on all three lines. He is a fantastic skater and I could count the number of "off nights" he has had since he has been in MK, on the fingers of one hand. He is a leader within our changing room and takes immense pride in both his and the team's performances. He thoroughly deserves his leadership role for the upcoming season'.
