The Milton Keynes Lightning are very pleased to announce the first two signings of the 2009/10 season in Adam Carr and Adam Brittle.

Adam Carr returns for his seventh year with the club after joining during MKL’s second season from the Isle of Wight Raiders.  Adam has gone from strength to strength every season and has just had his best year to date.  Adam is a two – way center who has established himself as one of the most complete players in the English Premier League as he is comfortable in every situation.  A fan-favourite and a leader in the changing room we will once again be looking for big things from number 18 this coming year.

After about four years of speaking with Adam Brittle in the summer we have finally secured his services for the coming season.  Adam spent last season with the Wightlink Raiders as he was attending Bournemouth University on the south coast.  Adam was one of the top scoring British players in the EPL and is a very exciting talent that will fit into the Lightning’s style of play.  We have no doubt that Adam will become a fan favourite with the MK faithful.
