ImageThe enthusiastic and very popular TV football presenter Chris Kamara was at the Planet Ice Arena in Milton Keynes to film another one of his challenges in the "Kammy Do It?" series where he decided to have a go at being an Ice Hockey netminder.

The ex footballer decided that he could save at least half the shots he faced from the MK Lightning team, and at first thought he could do this without even needing his kit. That was until he witnessed one of Lukas Zatopeks fierce slap shots and then very quickly thought that kit would be helpful. Fully kitted and donning a "Kammy"  no1 shirt, in Milton Keynes third strip, he set about taking to the ice and setting up in net. Without taking too much away from the clip that is due to be shown on Saturday 16th October, the players had an hilarious time as they watched the unfortunate Kamara trying to get to grips with the task at hand.
On the filming, GM Vito Rausa said, "it was absolutely hilarious watching someone who had obviously never skated before trying to make his way to the crease and face a barrage of shots". "I thought Chris Kamara was a superb sport, and was more than happy after the filming had finished to share some banter and have some photos taken with the guys." He added, " the filming all came about thanks to a conversation Grant McPherson had with another presenter at a recent social event. Soccer AM got in touch with Grant and set the filming up. It's great to see British Hockey get some much needed TV coverage even if it is in a humorous situation such as this. After all it is a fun sport."
