Prospective and current ice hockey fans are in for a real treat as Milton Keynes Lightning Ice Hockey Club embarks on the 2009/2010 season.

Lightning have tied up two deals which will see the City outfit reach more people than ever before.

First of all, Lightning will have their very own channel on the popular internet based Bucks TV

Bucks TV was formed almost a year ago and has reached the stage where almost 20,000 people visit the website each month.

The channel will carry Lightning match reports and other news including exclusive interviews with players and management as the season progresses.

Lightning have also teamed up with the new internet radio station for Milton Keynes, Radio MK

Radio MK will carry Lightning news and results and will also see Milton Keynes Lightning Players visiting the studios regularly to promote the club and the local community.

Not only does this see a great advantage for the wider public to get to know about Lightning and Ice Hockey in the City but it will also appeal to sponsors with increased exposure.
