When the David Lloyd Fitness Centre in Milton Keynes wanted to celebrate the installation of 45 new Keiser M3 spinning bikes recently, who better to invite to the inaugural masterclass than some of the club's clients who will use them most regularly - some of Milton Keynes' top sporting stars.
A ribbon on the newly-installed Keiser area was cut by none other than Denis Keiser, CEO of Keiser Corporation and the company's founder 36 years ago. MK Lightning ice hockey club's newest recruit, Tuomas Tikkanen was joined by members of the MK Lions basketball team at the David Lloyd centre in Newlands last week to try out the new bikes. All of the players took part in a launch day masterclass to discover how to get the best results from incorporating these state-of-the-art pieces into their fitness regimes. Endorsed by some of the UK's top sporting clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and also Newcastle and Ospreys rugby clubs, Keiser M3 spinning bikes offer a self-calibrating resistance system - giving the rider freedom to program it for an infinite amount of gear changes, and get the optimum results from their training. A sophisticated on-board computer system shows RPM, power output, calories burned, resistance and trip distance so you can adjust your workout to get the results you want. The Keiser M3 spinning bikes were also used to raise money for a local charity this week as part of a two-hour Valentines’ “spinathon” on Sunday 12 February, big- hearted fitness centre members raising over £400 for Willen Hospice. Andy Royles, Sports Manager at David Lloyd Fitness in Milton Keynes, said he looked forward to seeing many more of the club's members take advantage of the benefits of the Keiser M3 machines. "These bikes are endorsed by some of the UK's top sporting teams, and players from the Lightning and Lions' rosters will be incorporating them into their regular training routines too - which shows you the confidence that these sportsmen have in improving their fitness using the Keiser M3's. But we also look forward to seeing our many regular users discovering the bikes for themselves - and getting the same benefits that so many top sportsmen do!"
