LIGHTNING AND PETERBOROUGH PUT RIVALRIES ASIDE FOR THE ASHES

Local rivalries will be put firmly to one side this weekend when Milton Keynes Lightning take on Peterborough Phantoms to contest the Ashes.  But don't worry, the action will be as lively as ever between the two teams - it's just the mascots who will be in harmony on the ice, all in aid of charity. Lightning’s lovable mascot Pucky and the Phantoms’ mascot, Tom, will pair up on the ice on Saturday at the Thunderdome and again on Sunday in Peterborough, and will be asking supporters of both teams to dig deep in aid of local charities.   Pucky was unavailable for comment due to attending a final training session.
