Lightning palyed Basingtoke home and then away this weekend and after last weeks 4 pointer really needed to come out and win again.

Saturday the guys did us proud and won 5-0. Grant McPherson went toe to toe with 6'5" Wiggins in what was a fairly even match, Grant having already scored yet another goal for Lightning.

Lightning travelled down after the uncertainty of whether the ice would be playable or not and were in the lead all the way through until Barry Hollyhead got injured and had to retire from the game.  Basingatoke evened it up and won in overtime.  Full match reports to available
