On behalf of the MK Lightning and the MK hockey community I would like to wish the Beales family a happy and success full future as they head off to a new life in New Zealand in the coming week.

Neil, Sheena, Ailise and Sean Beales have been part of our extended family since the first season and this will be their final weekend supporting their team.  The family have become regulars at all home games and have become entrenched in the MK hockey community with Neal starring for the Rumble and Jesters and both children taking part in the Learn to Play scheme in MK.  I remember fondly both Sean and Ailise handing out sweets to all the players as we walked up the stairs to the bar after a match.  Win or loose Neal and Sheena have always stuck by the team and were the first to great us with a smile. The Beales family represent everything that is great about the MK hockey community and I know we will all miss them.
