Wednesday Night is Hockey Night and the Heating is fixed
Sunday, 21 February 2010

Well, this week, Wednesday night is Hockey night.  This Wednesday Lightning take on Manchester Phoenix in te second leg of the Semi Finals of the Cup.  MKL have a 6 goal lead having won the first leg last week at Manchester 2 - 8 MKL, but we know Manchester will not sit back and they will no doubt be out for revenge this week.

This will be a hard game for Lightning and the extra player on the ice, in the fantastic MKL fans, the best in the league, would be an extra boost for them - we hope to see you on Wednesday face off 7.30pm

This long weekend
Monday, 15 February 2010

MK Lighning have the first Leg of the Semi Finals of the Cup this Thursday (18th Feb) away at Manchester  - if anyone is able to come along and support The Lightning then Team would really appreciate it - Face Off is 7.30 pm

The First leg of the Semi Finals of the Cup saw Lightning streaking ahead with a 2 - 8 lead over Manchester Phoenix,  despite a difficult journey to Manchester in unpleasant conditions Lightning settled down and  played a fantastic game, we do not however rule out a spirited reply from Phoenix in the 2nd leg at home on Wednesday 24th February 2010 - Face off 7.30pm

Then it is away at Romford on Saturday

Romford came out scoring 3 early goals tonight, but Lightning showed yet again why they are top of the League and fought their way back to win Romford 4 - 8 MKL - with 4 goals from Monir Kalgoum.  The results around the league mean that Lightning are now 7 points clear of Slough Jets.

Sunday we are playing host to Euan Henderson the MK Mayor and the Mayoress - who was a large part of keeping Planet Ice Milton Keynes open a few years ago - we would love a brilliant rousing welcome.   Sunday face off 5.30pm - every game is so crucial at the moment and the extra player (the fantastic MKL Fanbase) can make all the difference - so, see you there....

Well, the Mayor and Mayoress arrived, a lot earlier than Lightning it must be said, again Lightning went behind tonight and had to claw it back and the final score was MKL 5 - 2 Sheffield.

So 4 days, 3 games and 6 points out of 6, it doesn't get any better
