Thursday evening saw the second of what the MK Lightning hope will be a regular series of Fans’ Forums, designed to give the team’s supporters updates in what they know will be a busy few months, with the usual close season player movements and the planned refurbishment of the team’s home, Planet Ice Milton Keynes.
The Milton Keynes Lightning Ice Hockey club is well-known for its involvement with not just its supporters but the local community too - charity golf days and an annual fund-raising month being just two of many examples. And earlier this month the club and supporters worked together again, raising over £800 to allow the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) to provide essential equipment to help people living with MND.
After a season which saw him finish with a higher goals saved percentage than any other netminder in the English Premier League, Stephen Wall has committed to the Milton Keynes Lightning for the 2013-14 season.
