Adam Carr will miss the upcoming two games against Sheffield and Telford but we are hopeful that he will return the following weekend. He has a stress fracture in his hand and it appears to be healing well. We should know more next week.

Ross Green For GB U20s
Congratulations go out to Ross Green for being selected to the Great Britain Under 20's team. Ross will be playing in the IIHF World Championships in Germany this December. Ross thoroughly deserved his selection and the entire Milton Keynes hockey community is very proud of him. Well done Ross!
Edward Knaggs Selected For England Under 14s
Following in Ross Green's footsteps is Milton Keynes Storm under 14 Edward Knaggs who has been selected for the England Under 14 team. The England under 14s will be playing in tournaments in both Hungary and the Czech Republic. Edward ices for both the MK Storm Under 14s and 16s and plays defence. Congratulations to Edward on behalf of everyone in MK Hockey. We are all very proud of you and wish you and England the best of luck.

Congrats to all the players and coaches of the MK Storm Junior Under 10, 12, 16 and 18 teams that played and won this past weekend. Under 10s and 16 both beat Oxford whilst our 12 and 18 sides were victorious in Bristol. Well done to all.
Injury Update

Juraj Gracik - George suffered an injury to his shoulder in last night's match when he ended up crashing into our net whilst breaking up a scoring chance for Telford. He has been to our physio this morning and will miss this weekend's matches with Basingstoke. We hope he will be able to play the following weekend but will know more when we see how he responds to treatment.
Matt Towalski - Matty suffered a hamstring injury against Slough and missed this past weekend's matches. He is desperate to play this coming weekend and we are hopeful. However we will know more as the week progresses.
Solid Start For MKL

After our first 6 games of the season we can be pleased with our results and our placement in the league table but there are plenty of areas to improve on. The team seem to be gelling very well and once again we seem to have created a great spirit within the camp. The new players (Tom Norton and Juraj Gracik) have settled in nicely and have both put in key performances already.
This week GM Vito Rausa, Pucky and Myself had our first school's visit as we attended assembly at Heronsgate Primary School in Walton Park. The MK Lightning Enterprise Scheme gives students the opportunity to take part in a real life enterprise project where they can market, promote and sell tickets to a specific match.
One week into the season we head into our third and fourth games full of positivity and the knowledge that we must be fitter and sharper over the course of the coming weekend. Our opening set of games saw us beat last year's league champs and then drop points to a very good Sheffield side.
