Well done to all the U16 players and coaches on a very successful end to the league season. A 2-2 draw away to Swindon on Saturday assures us of keeping our 'A' league status after winning the opening home leg 4-1. Goals from Tom Mboya and Ross Tippett and a total team effort from all the lads was a great way to end the season. Well done to all the players and coaches. Great job!

Our first players have signed up for SHL 09. We are expecting the available places to go before the first game this year. Once again we will have four teams. This years teams are: Capitals (white), Flames (red), Thrashers (blue) and Penguins (black).
Well done to the Under 16's who won 4-1 on Sunday in the first leg of the home and away playoff match with Swindon. Three goals by Tommy Mboya and one from Dylan Pasqua give us a solid advantage going into the away match. It will be crucial that we maintain the same level of performance for the away match. Well done guys and good luck for the second leg.
Storming Playoff Win For Under 14's
Monday, 11 May 2009
Congrats go out to the MK Under 14's for there two-legged playoff victory over the Isle of Wight Lightning. The 5-4 aggregate victory ensures that the U14's will be competing in the A League next season. I had the pleasure of benching with the lads in the second leg and I must say it was the most enjoyable and rewarding match I have been a part of this season. The lads all played to their maximum and played with confidence and spirit in what was a pressure filled match. Congrats go to all the players, coaches, managers and parents for what was a great weekend of hockey. The entire junior club and MK hockey community are very proud of you boys. Well done!
