Lightning Strike in MK Schools |

This week GM Vito Rausa, Pucky and Myself had our first school's visit as we attended assembly at Heronsgate Primary School in Walton Park. The MK Lightning Enterprise Scheme gives students the opportunity to take part in a real life enterprise project where they can market, promote and sell tickets to a specific match.
The students taking part in the scheme sell tickets to students, staff and parents at a discounted rate and the school will then receive 50% of the take. Last year Heronsgate raised over £800.00 of which 50% goes back to the school and are aiming to better that total for their upcoming match. Heronsgate are planning on using the monies to purchase new playground equipment. The scheme is aimed at local primary schools and last season raised over £4000.00 in total.
