I am very pleased to announce that Glen is feeling fine (nasty headache!) after last nights game. Glen was unconscious after receiving a huge hit late in the third period. He will be out for an indefinate period of time (one to two weeks) which is standard procedure for a concussion. At the conclusion of last night's game Swindon were asked to leave the ice without a handshake by the ref who handled the situation very well. It is never the way you want to see a game concluded but under the circumstances I feel it was the right decision. The hit itself was clean but I do feel it was poorly judged and was unnecessary. At the end of the day we are all fellow professionals and I know no-one likes to see a player injured. I would like to thank the supporters and Planet Ice staff for there help in dealing with the situation and also a big thanks to the Swindon trainer and the players that were concerned with Glen's well-being. See you later
